At just 39 years of age, I'm about to turn yet another page

Another page of my life unfolds

On with the new, out with the old

I'm changing my career, embarking on my dreams

I'm listening to that voice as oddly as that seems

I am letting go of things that trapped me

And I'm chasing my dreams that make me happy

I'm looking forward and never behind

To only the things healthy for my mind

I've allowed some things to poison my being

It took many years to begin seeing

And so now I begin my daily dose

Of only the things in which I love most

I vow I will never allow poison back to my soul

As I begin my journey to again, become whole

I will grab onto life and enjoy every day

Because here in happiness is where I will stay

Right here I promise is where I will stay

In happiness and halth every single day
